Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Thursday, tracking gains in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola climbed to Rs479,262 after increasing by Rs15,200 خلال the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold rose by Rs13,031 to reach Rs410,889, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
A day earlier, gold per tola had reached Rs464,062 following an increase of Rs16,300.
In the international market, gold prices rose by $152 to settle at $4,565 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded an uptick, gaining Rs370 to reach Rs7,824 per tola.
