Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Thursday, tracking gains in the international market. In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola climbed by Rs7,900 to settle at Rs523,962.
Likewise, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs6,773, taking it to Rs449,212, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, gold per tola had risen by Rs1,300 to reach Rs516,062.
In the global market, gold prices advanced by $79 to $5,012 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded a notable increase, rising by Rs358 to Rs8,404 per tola.
