Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Tuesday, tracking a downward trend in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs3,000 to settle at Rs488,462.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs2,572, reaching Rs418,777, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, gold per tola had risen by Rs1,100 to close at Rs491,462.
In the global market, gold prices declined by $30, bringing the rate to $4,657 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs7,744 per tola.
