ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Saturday in line with a decrease in international bullion rates, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs1,100 per tola, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Following the decline, the price of gold settled at Rs439,836 per tola in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs943, bringing it down to Rs377,088.
A day earlier, the price of gold had risen sharply by Rs12,200 per tola to reach Rs440,936.
In the international market, gold prices declined by $11, with the global rate settling at $4,174 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved lower, with the price of one tola of silver falling by Rs48 to Rs6,716.
