Gold prices in Pakistan moved lower on Monday, tracking losses in international markets, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs4,400 to settle at Rs471,762.
Likewise, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs3,773, bringing it down to Rs404,459.
In the previous trading session on Saturday, gold prices had risen by Rs1,300 per tola, taking the rate to Rs476,162.
The decline in domestic prices followed a downturn in the international bullion market, where gold prices fell by $44 to $4,494 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction, with the rate increasing by Rs46 per tola to reach Rs8,059.
