TAIPEI: Taiwan’s TSMC said on Thursday it does not expect the ongoing Middle East conflict to disrupt its supply of key chipmaking materials, including helium and hydrogen, in the near term.
Chief financial officer Wendell Huang said during an earnings call that the company has diversified its sourcing and built up reserves to mitigate potential risks.
“We source from multiple suppliers in different regions, and we have prepared safety stock inventory on hand,” he said.
“We do not expect any near-term impact on our operations.”
