ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik held a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, to discuss matters of mutual interest, with a particular focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy and minerals sectors.
During the meeting, Malik congratulated the Saudi ambassador on the successful hosting of the Future Minerals Forum, describing it as a significant platform for enhancing Pakistan–Saudi collaboration in the energy and minerals domain. He emphasized that the longstanding brotherly relations between the two countries would translate into concrete outcomes, including increased investment, technology transfer, and joint ventures.
Ambassador Al-Malki appreciated Pakistan’s active participation in the forum and underscored that sustained engagement between Islamabad and Riyadh is essential for expanding cooperation, particularly in the minerals sector.
