Gold prices in Pakistan climbed on Monday, tracking an upward trend in the international market. In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs5,300 to settle at Rs524,762.
Likewise, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs4,544 and was sold at Rs449,898, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Previously, on Saturday, gold prices had surged by Rs11,700 in a single day, taking the per tola rate to Rs519,462.
In the global market, gold prices rose by $53 to reach $5,020 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved higher, gaining Rs346 to stand at Rs8,615 per tola.
