Gold prices in Pakistan moved lower on Monday, mirroring a decline in international markets. In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs3,200 to settle at Rs523,762.
Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs2,743, bringing it down to Rs449,041, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In the previous session on Saturday, gold per tola had surged by Rs7,000 to close at Rs526,962.
Globally, gold prices slipped by $32 per ounce to $5,010, which includes a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also registered a decline, falling by Rs55 to stand at Rs8,164 per tola.
