Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Thursday, mirroring a decline in the international market. In the local bullion market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,800, bringing it down to Rs537,162.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs2,401 to Rs460,529, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, on Wednesday, the price of gold per tola had already dropped by Rs10,000 to settle at Rs539,962.
In the global market, gold prices also moved lower, declining by $28 to reach $5,144 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan also saw a reduction, with the rate per tola falling by Rs194 to Rs8,810.
