Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Thursday, tracking gains in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola climbed by Rs2,800 to reach Rs478,762.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs2,401, settling at Rs410,461, according to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Earlier this week, on Monday, gold per tola had risen by Rs3,900 to reach Rs475,962.
In the global market, gold prices increased by $28, taking the rate to $4,560 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved upward, gaining Rs260 to reach Rs7,784 per tola.
