Gold prices in Pakistan moved downward on Tuesday, tracking losses in the international market. In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,000, settling at Rs500,162.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs857, bringing it to Rs428,808, according to figures released by All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
A day earlier, on Monday, gold prices had already seen a sharp fall, with the per tola rate decreasing by Rs4,900 to close at Rs501,162.
In the global market, gold prices also edged lower, falling by $10 to reach $4,778 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices followed a similar trend, dropping by Rs59 to settle at Rs8,358 per tola.
