Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Tuesday, tracking gains in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola rose to Rs499,962 after an increase of Rs4,600 during the day. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold climbed by Rs3,943, reaching Rs428,636, according to the rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, the per tola gold price had closed at Rs495,362 after witnessing a decline of Rs1,600 earlier in the day.In the global market, gold prices increased by $46, reaching $4,776 per ounce, including a $20 premium. Meanwhile, silver prices also moved upward, gaining Rs326 to settle at Rs8,260 per tola in the local market.
